As a paralegal at Bank | Rifkin, Mr. Bliss has over 30 years of continuous career experience in handling complex family law cases. Prior to joining Bank | Rifkin, Mr. Bliss’ distinguished paralegal career has included working at an internationally acclaimed Washington, D.C. law firm, and subsequently at several local prominent law firms in the areas of litigation and family law.
Mr. Bliss received his education at Wayne State University and the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Mr. Bliss also served on the staff of former U.S. Senator Carl Levin in Washington D.C., and worked as a constituent liaison on Senator Levin’s staff in Detroit, Michigan.
Throughout his paralegal career, Mr. Bliss has directly assisted with and participated in hundreds of cases in many aspects of family law, including development of discovery matters, client interviews and preparation of clients for deposition and trial testimony, witness interviews and development, and intensive preparation of cases for mediation, arbitration and trial. His many years of intensive training and experience, and his strong sense of discipline, preparedness and dedication to clients, are an integral asset to the firm’s team approach to providing strong, effective client representation while working to resolve and bring legal issues and matters to a successful conclusion for their clients.
